  I went in because I have been battling a fever, chills, cold sweats, a cough for about 24 hours now. I told the practitioner that I felt like this was the flu. He did not test me for the flu, he proceeded to do a basic checkup and then told me I had a sinus infection. He gave me Zyrtec, which I take on a regular basis, a steroid, and a stronger version of Flonase. I truly did not think this was correct after leaving- I went back and asked to have a flu shot because I have flu like symptoms- to which he proceeded to SCREAM at me and call me disrespectful because I “don’t have flu like symptoms”. to which I responded with- Yes. I have a fever of 101.5 and I have never felt this terrible in my life. He tells me “fine I’ll test you but it’s not going to change anything”. He brings back in the test results and I tested positive for the flu. He shoved the prescription in my face and told me I was unprofessional and there is my tamiflu but it will only get rid of symptoms for one day less. to which he leaves the room by saying “I hope you got what you wanted”. A correct diagnosis was all i wanted. I
  shouldn’t of had to come back, and I shouldn’t of had to “yell” at him for a flu test. I was treated unfairly, poorly, and I felt very disrespected. I hope he finds compassion the more he continues to practice. Will never be seeing Martinez again.
